Using the 35% Laser Whitening Kit

Please note that instructions supplied by Dentech with the 35% laser kit are more detailed to ensure you achieve the best results possible.

1. Before Whitening:

Brush your teeth to remove any food particles and to provide a clean tooth surface for the gel to act on. Do not floss prior to whitening, as this may irritate the gums.


2. Moulding the therm-fit whitening trays

Boil water in a kettle, pour into a cup deep enough to submerge the trays. Leave water to cool for 3 minutes. Holding the tray by its tab, submerge the mouth piece for 5 to 10 seconds. Pull the tray out and insert over your teeth, leave for about 20 seconds, then remove and place in a cup of cold water for 10 seconds to set the tray.


3. Apply the whitening gel

Apply 0.25ml to 0.50ml (syringes are marked in 0.25ml measurements) of gel to a dry, clean tray. Place a small line of gel half way up the surface of the tray that will be in contact with the front surface of your teeth.


4. Insert the trays

Seat the tray against teeth by pressing lightly with fingers.


5. Insert laser accelerating light

Insert light in front of trays and teeth with your lips over the clear plastic part. Press the on-button. The timer will automatically switch the light off after 10 minutes, press again to continue whitening if desired.


6. Wear time

If you have not whitened before we recommend 5 minutes for the first session. Increase wear time if little or no sensitivity is experienced. Use once or twice a day for up to 21 days or until desired results achieved if earlier. Do not exceed 60 minutes wear time per day.
